The Future is now or was it?

I surf the net and have wandered into some strange places. I know my searches and the links I follow must have some pattern since I follow my interests but organizing or categorizing them has always been to me impossible. No app or framwork really works, diary, timeline, tree view, outline or network diagram. No chart, diagram, relational database, algorithm, wiki, hash-tags or info-graphic works. Certainly a blog does not help. This blog appears only as a hodge-podge of links. I have identified a problem above to be solved untill then I can only say, two things fascinate me:
First is: What makes human existence pleasurable? What makes us feel secure and comfortable? This can takes me from Maslof to nostalgia, Art & Architecture, Human scale and simplicity & deconstructivism…. what is the essence of what feels right.
Second is: There has been the Agricultural Revolution then the Industrial Revolution and now we have the “Technological Revolution:” I really don’t know what we call this last one, but it is happening. I believe that humans or labor has become unneeded via: automation, even a liability. As the world hits 7 billion people, increasingly “productivity”, or making more with fewer human hours is the path of growth and profit, not building large armies 7 organizations with more people. The Industrial Revolution eliminated farming as the majority of human work, so this revolution has been eliminating not only manufacturing jobs but also now “white collar jobs”. Bankers dont trade money, algorithms do. What does this mean for the economy, world peace and for our future?
